Manitoba tornado warnings dropped, but severe storms persist

Severe thunderstorms prompted a tornado warning in southern Manitoba on Thursday afternoon.

5:50 p.m. CDT - All tornado warnings that were in effect in Manitoba earlier Thursday afternoon have now expired.

Severe thunderstorm watches remain in effect throughout southern Manitoba as severe storms develop across the region.

Any severe storms in the region could produce large hail, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. Remain alert for additional warnings through the evening, especially in far southern portions of the province.
