Kawhi Leonard, Eugene Levy among celebrities impacted by Cali wildfires
Winds could worsen the situation through Thursday.
California's devastating wildfires have caused tens of thousands of people to flee their homes. The Pacific Palisades neighbourhood, where several celebrities are said to own properties, has been severely impacted.
Here are some of the people who reside in the area.
Former NBA Toronto Raptor and current LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard purchased a $17 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades in 2021.

Canadian actor Eugene Levy also owns a property in the area and told the LA Times he was stuck in gridlock traffic as he attempted to evacuate.
"The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon,” Levy told The Times via phone.
“I couldn’t see any flames but the smoke was very dark.”

Actor Ben Affleck was photograped attempting to return to his multimillion-dollar Palisades home Tuesday evening, only to be turned away as flames engulfed the Palisades neighbourhood.

Other celebrities living in the area include Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Steven Spielberg, and Reese Witherspoon.
Los Angeles City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson declared a state of emergency Tuesday evening, warning things could get worse between Wednesday and Thursday.
