VIDEO: Avalanche completely engulfs car on Colorado highway
Avalanche warnings were in place at the time of the incident.
Terrifying footage has emerged out of Colorado, featuring cars becoming engulfed by an avalanche.
The video was captured amid heavy snowfall in Colorado's Ten Mile Canyon region on Sunday.
Shaune Golemon was driving on I-70 when his daughter noticed the wall of snow barreling down the mountain toward them. Golemon’s dash-cam recorded the avalanche as it buried the car, making it impossible to move or see.

Golemon told Storyful he and his family members were unharmed.
They were able to exit their vehicle safely after the snow passed through.
Local media confirms the avalanche was not a controlled slide. Warnings were in place at the time of the incident.
