Double-digit warmth will come with a side of snow in Alberta
Spring snow or pleasant 20-degree days? This week will have it all in Alberta, it just depends on where you are
Could Alberta hit its first 20°C day of the year this week? Yes, while it snows!

Spring will show its true tumultuous side, as a battle between warm and wintry weather takes shape.
The warmer conditions will spread across the south later this week, as very mild southerly air moves in.

The province's first 20-degree day of the year is possible on Wednesday, with chances growing on Thursday as daytime highs warm even further.
While the south basks in a taste of pleasant temperatures, central sections of the province will be dealing with some early-spring snow.
An active storm track combined with Pacific moisture will help to develop a clipper system, which will enhance the chance for snow.

Snow is forecast on Thursday for areas north of Calgary, impacting Edmonton and surrounding regions with the wintry weather.

Totals are uncertain at this time as computer models continue to analyze exactly where the storm develops. Regardless, it will likely be enough to slow commute times, so be sure to plan ahead for the changing conditions.
Much colder weather is forecast for the final few days of March, and into the start of April, as well.
