Environment Canada snowfall warnings still remain for the southern half of the province, including Fredericton and Moncton. The warning says two to five centimetres of snow is still expected, ending later Tuesday morning.
It goes on to say that strong winds up to 50 km/h could make for reduced visibility from blowing snow.
Special weather statements for prolonged snowfall are in place for some central regions, such as Kent County and Woodstock and Carleton County.
