Shuffling pattern sees severe storm threat move across the Prairies

Another day, another chance of thunderstorms exists on the Prairies, with Tuesday's potential for active weather popping up in parts of all three provinces

Some of these storms could become strong enough to warrant severe thunderstorm warnings.

The main threat in Alberta is the chance for quarter-sized hail, whereas on the eastern Prairies, hail and strong wind gusts are possible.

Prairies precipitation timing Tuesday evening

Storms will develop Tuesday afternoon and continue through the evening.

There is a risk of some showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday but they will be scattered and weak.
