Spectacular fall weekend, but with a catch in southern Ontario
Yet another weekend where beautiful weather awaits in southern Ontario, but with a rainy interruption to pay attention to, as well
This weekend will feature some gorgeous fall weather across southern Ontario!
However, like so many weekends this year, the upcoming weekend will also include some rain. A passing shower is possible at the beginning and showers are likely at the end, but sandwiched in between will be a period of spectacular weather which will be ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities.
Please read on for your weekend weather details and a look ahead to next week.

Friday will start off with some sunshine, but we will see increasing clouds later in the day. Scattered showers will track from west to east across our region during the afternoon and into the evening, but most places will get missed and remain dry.
Scattered showers will end during Friday evening, then the sky will become clear for most of Friday night.
When people talk about how much they love fall weather, I think they have days like Saturday in mind. Saturday will be a spectacular day with full sunshine, a deep blue sky, low humidity and comfortable temperatures.
Saturday night will be mostly clear and cool.
Sunday will start and end with some sunshine, but a period of showers will track from west to east across our region during the afternoon and a thunderstorm is possible. Despite the cloudy and wet interruption, temperatures will be a few degrees warmer than seasonal.
Next week will feature autumnal weather with much cooler temperatures.

If the sky is clear Monday night, we will see widespread frost (primarily outside of urban/suburban areas) and possibly a freeze for some rural areas, especially across cottage country.
The middle of next week will be quite a contrast to what we have seen so far this fall with temperatures actually on the cool side of seasonal despite periods of sunshine. Passing showers are possible, but most of next week will be dry.
Temperatures will rebound late next week.
What can we expect for Thanksgiving weekend? At this point we expect a warm and dry start to the weekend. However, we are watching the potential for a significant cold front with a period of showers followed by cooler weather for Thanksgiving. But, please be sure to check back next week for a detailed look at what you can expect during the long weekend.
