
Police recover body of Newfoundland man who went missing in blizzard
RCMP discovered a body earlier Saturday, confirmed to be of missing Newfoundland man
The body of a 26-year-old Newfoundland man who went missing during the peak of the record-setting blizzard last weekend was recovered by the RCMP.
The Newfoundland and Labrador RCMP were called to a scene earlier Saturday after a body was discovered near Roaches Line, a small community approximately 70 kilometres west of St. John's.
The deceased male was confirmed to be Joshua Wall, who disappeared on his way to a friend’s house in Marysvale as the epic snowstorm hit the province.

In an email, the RCMP verified the body as Wall and extended its condolences to family and relatives.
On Tuesday, the police force suspended its search for Wall after tiring efforts to find him failed. The RCMP had asked residents in the area to keep a lookout just in case Wall was seeking shelter on their properties.
