If you are feeling like you have been left out, you’re right! Almost every other year has brought a 20-degree day by now, not to mention how 900 kilometres north of the city, Moosonee hit Canada’s first 30°C already.

A stretch of even warmer weather is headed to Toronto and surrounding areas as we close out the work week. Warmer temperatures, inching closer to 30°C, and clearer skies mean a high UV forecast across Ontario. So while you're out enjoying the first taste of spring warmth, do not count out the sun block!

Meteorologists are urging folks to enjoy it while you can, because a pattern shift may send us a step back into April next week.

Ill-timed with the upcoming weekend, the pattern is beginning to show signs of breaking down. As the warm high pressure exits stage right, a rainy system is brewing in behind, with potential to bring back rainfall and below seasonal temperatures across the Greater Toronto Area.
