
IN PHOTOS: Wicked lightning, hail from overnight Ontario storms
Abundant lightning, torrential downpours and large hail were all in the skies from the overnight storms that wracked the southwest and parts of the GTA.
If you were jolted from sleep by thunder and lightning Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, you weren't alone.
Powerful storms rolled through the southwest and parts of the Greater Toronto Area overnight, making for a serious lightshow, with abundant thunder and lighting.
The storms also produced locally heavy downpours, with some localized flooding reported, as well as hail up to quarter-sized.
