High winds to end the week for southern Ontario
A windy forecast for southern Ontario this Friday, before a front brings in some light rain for the start of the weekend
Hold on to your hats!
After plunging temperatures and some of the first signs of snow across southern Ontario, temperatures will climb back up to end the week, but with gusty conditions as a cold front approaches from the north on Friday.

Peak wind gusts between 40-60 km/h are expected throughout all of southern Ontario on Friday, with some stronger gusts along the shores of Lake Huron and through Prince Edward County, off of Lake Ontario.

Near seasonal temperatures will take hold this weekend, and most of the weekend will be dry with some sunny breaks.

Milder conditions return for Monday, but a system will track into the Great Lakes region with widespread rain developing from west to east across the region during Monday and Monday night. Another system is expected mid-to-late next week, and while the track is highly uncertain at this time, the system will have more cold air to work with, so definitely something to watch for the potential for snow.
Another shot of chilly weather is expected through the latter half of next week, though near to above seasonal temperatures should dominate during the second half of November.
