Severe storms on the table again Wednesday for Manitoba as setup remains

Another day of tornado-warned storms for parts of Manitoba Tuesday, giving some residents a feeling of déjà vu after Monday's severe weather. The risk will hang on Wednesday as a low continues to push eastward.

Tuesday must have felt quite similar to Monday in Manitoba after multiple tornado-warned cells popped up for the second day this week. While nothing was confirmed, the severe storm risk will reappear Wednesday for the province as a low-pressure system moves in and makes its way east.

Wednesday also features a trough developing over B.C., which will prompt the threat for thunderstorms in the south, spilling into southern Alberta. Larger hail is yet again the biggest concern where severe storms emerge.

A high-pressure system will also make its way south over Saskatchewan on Wednesday, sparing the province of the stormy weather, with the exception of the southeastern portion of the province.
