Widespread frost advisories are in effect as temperatures are expected to hover around or below zero across the Greater Toronto Area overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

This overnight chill includes the risk for subfreezing temperatures in Toronto proper. Only the immediate lakeshores might escape temperatures hitting the zero-degree mark.

Readings will bottom-out a few degrees below freezing farther inland and away from the urban cores. Kitchener is likely going to reach -4°C during the overnight hours.
