TUESDAY: THUNDERSTORM RISK IN SASKATCHEWAN AND MANITOBA
A warm front will track into southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba on Tuesday and will bring the risk of severe thunderstorms.
Thunderstorms will track through southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba during the early afternoon hours and could produce torrential rain, hail and powerful wind gusts. Nocturnal thunderstorms are possible in the evening hours.

The Weather Network meteorologist Tyler Hamilton says that there is the slight possibility for supercell and tornadoes, however, there is the presence of stable air that indicates it could prevent the development of thunderstorms. This could change by Tuesday afternoon and meteorologists are closely monitoring the potential for any tornadic activity.
Temperatures will remain hot and humid in Manitoba, with some of the heat moving back into parts of southern Saskatchewan, where temperatures could reach the 30-degree mark in a couple of locales.
This system will then shift into northwestern Ontario on Wednesday with heavy rain. Cooler weather will then aspread east across the region behind the potent system.
