As we progress through Tuesday afternoon, our focus of convection shifts along a boundary draped across central Saskatchewan and Manitoba, where storm energy will support the chance for severe thunderstorms. Most storms across Alberta will be non-severe.

Farther south, temperatures were extraordinarily warm across the southern Prairies, really reducing the chances of thunderstorm development. In fact, temperatures exceeded 39 degrees in Etzicom, Alta., on Monday, making this the warmest temperature outside of British Columbia this summer across Canada.
