Atlantic basin shows signs of life once more, with eyes on 2 disturbances

With activity in the Atlantic now starting to stir again, attention has shifted to areas near the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean, where forecasters are monitoring two disturbances for possible further development in the next five days.
The Atlantic basin settled down quite a bit towards the end of September, but activity is expected to pick up again in October as the already record-breaking season continues.
