Parts of Canada will head into the first long weekend of spring enjoying some truly spectacular spring-like weather.

Warm conditions are likely on the Prairies with the region’s first 20°C temperature of the year possible for some. Calmer conditions will prevail over the east to make cleanup from this week’s rowdy storm much easier.

Meanwhile, parts of the West Coast are looking at a risk for heavy rainfall heading into the long weekend, which could throw a wrench in travel plans across the area.
