Where was Canada located millions of years ago? Interactive map pinpoints cities

Over millions of years, the world's tectonic plates have moved significantly. Check out this interactive map to see where cities were millions of years ago.

Who remembers yesterday, nevermind 750 million years ago. Ian Webster, a computer scientist, developed an interative globe dubbed, Ancient Earth Globe, where you can see where cities around the world were located millions of years ago.

Earth's land has shifted signficantly over the years due to plate tectonics doing their thing.

The interactive globe is really cool, not only does is show where cities were millions of years ago, but it also shows the what was happening with the flora and fauna at that time.

Webster shared with CNN that the globe "shows that our environment is dynamic and can change." He added that "the history of Earth is longer than we can conceive, and the current arrangement of plate tectonics and continents is an accident of time. It will be very different in the future, and Earth may outlast us all."

Have a go at the map, it's a fun way to get lost in time and space.
