A magnitude 4.9 earthquake was reported in Canada's Arctic Sunday night, but how common is it actually for quakes to happen there?
A magnitude 4.9 struck near Resolute, Nunavut Sunday night at a depth of 10 kilometres, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There have been no reports of shaking or damage in this High Arctic hamlet, actually known as one of Canada's most northerly communities.
