Residents of Johannesburg, South Africa stunned by once-in-a-decade snowfall
Residents of South Africa's biggest city Johannesburg were stunned by the first snowfall in more than a decade on Monday (July 10), with some children seeing snow for the first time ever.
While some parts of South Africa regularly experience snowy winters, Johannesburg last saw snow in August 2012.
South of Johannesburg in Brackenhurst, a Reuters photographer saw children making snowballs and snow angels in the school's grounds.

But for others, like delivery driver Chenjerai Murape whose motorbike would not start, the snow made his life difficult.
The South African Weather Service has issued warnings because of the cold front that has struck Gauteng province that contains Johannesburg and the capital Pretoria.
