This magical plant blows real bubbles into the air

If you live in a warm climate, you don't need to visit the dollar store to make bubbles.

It's a trick that's well-known to people who live in subtropical areas around the world.

Take a leaf off a Jatropha Curcas, snap its stem and blow. If you're lucky, you'll be treated with a handful of bubbles.

The tree's sap contains up to 40% oil, creating the perfect sticky substance for maximum bubble creation.

The oil can also be processed to produce biodiesel fuel that is compatible with a standard diesel combustion engine.

"This plant is prevalent in place I grew up, Dhading Nepal," Reddit user Tom Lawrence said on the info-sharing site.

"Growing up, we used this to blow bubbles with this, [especially] in monsoon season. According to my parents, its stem ... was used to brush teeth before toothbrushes were a thing."
