Hong Kong's mass housing complexes are INCREDIBLE
China is home to 1.3 billion people, and that's prompted the development of "mass housing" complexes in major urban areas like Hong Kong.
China is home to 1.3 billion people, and providing housing for that type of population isn't easy.
National Bureau of Statistics data from 2015 suggests that approximately 56 per cent of that -- roughly 767.5 million people -- lives in urban areas.
The booming population -- along with record-high housing prices in major cities like Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai -- has prompted the development of "mass housing" complexes.
Many people are also turning to 'mico-apartments', which are around 200 square feet in size.
