Discover Biidaasige Park: Toronto's largest new park in a generation

This is the new spot for the most picture-perfect skyline in Toronto.

Welcome to Biidaasige Park, pronounced “bee-daw-si-geh.”

Expanding over 10 acres, this is the city's largest new park in a generation.

Biidaasige means "sunlight shining toward us" in Anishinaabemowin, and Indigenous history is beautifully woven throughout the park.

The new event lawn can accommodate up to 3,000 people, but this space is about more than just a new place to gather.

What was once industrial land has now become a vibrant area for connecting with water, nature, art, and each other.

This transformation is part of a massive initiative to revitalize Toronto's waterfront—restoring the Don River, protecting the city from flooding, and reintroducing wildlife to the area.

As part of this restoration, more than one million plants and 5,000 trees have already been added.
