Celebrate Black History Month with Pelmorex: Edgard Mone
To celebrate Black History Month, The Weather Network is profiling an employee who helps bring weather information and products to you, our users across all platforms.
Edgard Mone has been a Digital Media Archivist for The Weather Network for the past six years.
Edgard is originally from Burkina Faso and immigrated to Canada following a high-profile marriage that was ended by a rocky divorce with a member of the presidential family.
Edgard left Burkina Faso for New York City but found his way to Canada in 2008.
Edgard oversees all the video clips that go through the production system and ensures that they are up-to-date. He used to be an actor in Burkina Faso - he was one of the main characters in the series ‘Monia et Rama’ in the early 2000s.
Edgard has always valued inclusivity in the workplace, and loves going to work and sharing in his coworkers' diverse cultures.
