Nadine Powell began her weather career in the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean. A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Nadine began working at the Meteorological Service, Jamaica and Television Jamaica in the mid-90s. In 2002, she traded in the sun, sea, and sand for snow squalls, wind chills, and summer storms. She has been at The Weather Network for over a decade, during which time she graduated from York University, stepping away from the camera to behind the scenes on the briefing desk. Nadine is now back in front the camera as a Video Meteorologist, talking all things weather on multiple platforms.
