Time span: Tuesday evening until Wednesday afternoon.

Remarks: Showers will transition to freezing rain on Tuesday as temperatures drop through the day and into the evening hours. Freezing rain is expected to continue through Tuesday night over most areas.

Accumulations of snow and ice may create slippery and hazardous travel or walking conditions. Ice buildup on trees and utility infrastructure may cause damage or outages.

Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most adverse conditions. Check transit, ferry, or flight statuses well in advance, as delays or disruptions could occur.
