Description

Snow, blowing snow, and strong winds are expected.

Locations: Norman Bay to Lodge Bay.

Time span: Friday morning until Saturday morning.

Total snowfall: 20 to 30 cm (heaviest Friday night).

Maximum wind gusts: northerly 70 km/h (strongest overnight Friday night).

Remarks: A significant portion of the snowfall is expected to accumulate prior to the onset of the strongest winds. As winds increase Friday night, visibility will deteriorate rapidly, with near-zero visibility at times in blowing snow.

Travel will likely be challenging. Road closures are possible.
