Prolonged, accumulating snowfall is expected.

Locations: southeastern Labrador.

Total snowfall: 15 to 20 cm, with locally higher amounts possible.

Time span:

L'Anse-au-Clair to Red Bay: midday Saturday until Sunday morning.
Lodge Bay to Norman Bay: Saturday evening until Sunday evening.

Remarks: Snow will accumulate steadily at light to moderate rates over an extended period, leading to potentially significant total amounts. In addition, occasional blowing snow may reduce visibility at times, especially near the Strait and over higher terrain.

Snow-covered surfaces may make travel slow or hazardous. Roads and walkways could become slippery and difficult to navigate, with road closures possible over higher terrain.
