Description

As colder temperatures arrive across northern Michigan this morning, a transition from rain to wet snow is expected. Snow could fall locally heavy at times through the morning hours. While snow accumulation is expected to be minimal, generally under an inch, pockets of reduced visibilities and slick roads are possible. Snow will diminish from west to east early this afternoon.

Description

What: Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts around 50 mph expected.
Where: Portions of Eastern Upper and Northern Lower Michigan.
When: From 9 AM this morning to 7 PM EST this evening.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Secure outdoor objects.
