What: Temperatures as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit will result in frost formation.
Where: Portions of east central, north central, and northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.
When: From 1 AM CDT /2 AM EDT/ to 8 AM CDT /9 AM EDT/ Saturday.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Recommended Action
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
