The National Weather Service in Chicago IL has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Northern Cook and Lake IL zones. For the Des Plaines Riverincluding Russell, Gurnee, Lincolnshireflooding is possible.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Des Plaines River from Townline Road in Libertyville downstream to Palatine Road in Prospect Heights, including the Lincolnshire gauge.
When: From Sunday afternoon to Wednesday morning.
Impacts: At 13.0 feet, Low-lying trails in Wright Woods Forest Preserve are inundated.
Additional Details: - At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.3 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Kankakee River at Dunns Bridge affecting Jasper and Porter Counties. For the Des Plaines Riverincluding Russell, Gurnee, LincolnshireMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
When: Until early Wednesday morning.
Impacts: At 8.0 feet, Agricultural and park land is inundated near the river. Residential property is threatened near the river.
Additional Details: - At 10:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.4 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM CDT Saturday was 7.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.7 feet just after midnight tonight.
