Flood Watch
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: A portion of central California, including the following areas, Mariposa-Madera Lower Sierra, San Joaquin River Canyon, Upper San Joaquin River, Yosemite NP outside of the valley and Yosemite Valley.
When: Through Friday afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

When: Until 1030 AM PST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 827 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Fresno, Oakhurst, Yosemite Lakes, Bonadelle Ranchos-Madera Ranchos, Coarsegold, Bass Lake Ranger District, Ahwahnee, Batterson, Metcalf Gap, Bass Lake, Millerton Lake, Crane Valley Reservoir, North Fork, Friant, Peckinpah, Auberry, Fish Camp and Poison Ridge. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
