Snow squalls are expected. Under the snow squall bands, visibility will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow, and snow will quickly accumulate.
Snow squalls return this afternoon.
What:
Local snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow.
When:
Beginning this afternoon and continuing through tonight.
Additional information:
Snow squalls are forecast to move into the area this afternoon as winds become westerly. The snow squalls will shift south of the area early Friday as winds become northerly.

Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
