Heavy snow is expected to develop tonight and continue Thursday.

Snow will spread southward this evening. Precipitation could begin as rain before quickly changing to snow within an hour.

Snowfall amounts will vary widely, with general amounts of 10 to 15 cm expected by Thursday night. Locally heavier amounts of 25 cm or more are possible particularly for higher elevation areas near the B.C. border, including Waterton Lakes National Park.

Snow will end Thursday evening.
