Snow squalls expected.
What:
Near zero visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Local snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm.
When:
Beginning overnight or early Monday morning.
The worst conditions are expected Monday afternoon and evening.
Additional information:
Lake effect snow squalls off Lake Ontario are expected to move into the area overnight or early Monday morning. Westerly winds gusting to 60 km/h will develop Monday afternoon, producing areas of near zero visibility in blowing snow. Snow squalls are expected to move out of the area Monday evening.
There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic Monday. Travel on Highway 401 may be hazardous at times.
