Description

Due to increased confidence across parts of Door County, especially northern Door County, for wind gusts of 50 mph or greater and, subsequently, the expectation of visibility to be reduced to less than 1/4 of a mile for several hours, have upgraded Door County to a Blizzard Warning.
What: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph, causing considerable blowing and drifting snow.
Where: Waushara, Menominee, Shawano, and Waupaca Counties.
When: From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Monday.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.
Additional Details: The combination of heavy snow and strong winds may result in some tree damage and power outages.
