THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 125 IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WISCONSIN THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN KENOSHA MILWAUKEE RACINE WALWORTH WAUKESHA THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BROOKFIELD, DELAVAN, EAST TROY, ELKHORN, KENOSHA, LAKE GENEVA, MENOMONEE FALLS, MILWAUKEE, MUSKEGO, NEW BERLIN, RACINE, WAUKESHA, AND WHITEWATER.
Flood Watch
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall on a saturated ground continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, in east central Wisconsin, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan. In south central Wisconsin, Columbia, Dane, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Lafayette, Marquette, Rock and Sauk. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha.
When: Until 7 AM CDT Thursday.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
