Description


Freezing Drizzle Continues This Evening: .Light freezing drizzle will continue into mid-evening, particularly along and west of the I-39 Corridor. Elevated and untreated surfaces have already become slippery, with additional slippery conditions possible on elevated and untreated surfaces as additional precipitation moves through. Budget extra travel times if taking to the roads. Freezing drizzle will taper by late evening.
What: Freezing drizzle. Light accumulations up to a glaze possible, particularly on elevated and untreated surfaces.
Where: A portion of south central Wisconsin.
When: Until 10 PM CST this evening.
Impacts: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will become slick and hazardous.

Recommended Action

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
