The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Black River at Black River Falls affecting Jackson County. Black River Near Galesville affecting Trempealeau and La Crosse Counties. Additional river and weather information is available at www.weather.gov/lacrosse. The next statement will be issued this evening by 845 PM CDT. What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. Where: Black River at Black River Falls. When: Until Friday morning. Additional Details: - At 5:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 49.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 43.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 49.9 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 53.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 47.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 55.6 feet on 06/27/1998. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Description

What: Visibility 1/4 mile or less in dense fog.
Where: In Minnesota, Dodge, Fillmore, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona Counties. In Wisconsin, Clark, Buffalo, Jackson, and Trempealeau Counties.
When: Until 8 AM CDT this morning.
Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Recommended Action

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
