Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Wisconsin, including the following areas, in central Wisconsin, Marathon, Portage, Waushara and Wood. In east central Wisconsin, Calumet, Manitowoc and Winnebago. In north central Wisconsin, Langlade and Lincoln. In northeast Wisconsin, Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Menominee, Northern Marinette County, Northern Oconto County, Outagamie, Shawano, Southern Marinette County, Southern Oconto County and Waupaca.
When: From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Tuesday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding will also be possible.
Additional Details: - Much of the region received 1 to 2 inches of rain Saturday night into Sunday morning, so soils are saturated. A large thunderstorm complex is expected to develop across the watch area late this afternoon and evening, and will likely produce widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in WisconsinMichigan Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Marinette, Dickinson and Menominee Counties. Menominee River near Florence affecting Dickinson, Florence and Iron Counties. For the Menominee Riverincluding Florence, VulcanModerate flooding is forecast.
What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Menominee River near Vulcan.
When: From late tonight until further notice.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, Structures along the river along Homestead Road and Sturgeon Way Road may start to be impacted by floodwaters.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late Sunday night and continue rising to a crest of 17.6 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 17.7 feet on 04/19/2002 and 17.4 feet on 04/27/1996 and on 04/16/2023. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
