THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 103 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN IOWA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA MITCHELL IN NORTHEAST IOWA ALLAMAKEE HOWARD WINNESHIEK IN MINNESOTA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 7 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA DODGE FILLMORE HOUSTON MOWER OLMSTED WABASHA WINONA IN WISCONSIN THIS WATCH INCLUDES 12 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN ADAMS CLARK JUNEAU IN NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN TAYLOR IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN CRAWFORD RICHLAND VERNON IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN BUFFALO JACKSON LA CROSSE MONROE TREMPEALEAU THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALMA, ARCADIA, AUSTIN, BLACK RIVER FALLS, CALEDONIA, CRESCO, DECORAH, DODGE CENTER, FRIENDSHIP, LA CROSSE, MAUSTON, MEDFORD, NEILLSVILLE, OSAGE, PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, PRESTON, RICHLAND CENTER, ROCHESTER, SPARTA, TOMAH, VIROQUA, WABASHA, WAUKON, WHITEHALL, AND WINONA.

Flood Watch

Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of central, north central, and west central Wisconsin, including the following counties, in central Wisconsin, Clark. In north central Wisconsin, Taylor. In west central Wisconsin, Buffalo, Jackson and Trempealeau.
When: From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Tuesday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional Details: - Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall on saturated ground. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts, are possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
