Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in WisconsinIllinoi
S: Baraboo River At Reedsburg affecting Sauk County. Baraboo River At Rock Springs affecting Sauk County. Baraboo River Near Baraboo affecting Columbia and Sauk Counties. Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties. Root River Canal At Raymond affecting Racine County.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Baraboo River near Baraboo.
When: From late tonight to Wednesday afternoon.
Impacts: At 18.0 feet, If Wisconsin River at Portage up to 17 feet also, water approaches gravel of I-39 off ramp to Cascade Mt Rd. There is widespread flooding of agricultural land.
Additional Details: - At 3:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 18.1 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 18.1 feet on 08/13/1980. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
