S: Baraboo River At Reedsburg affecting Sauk County. Baraboo River At Rock Springs affecting Sauk County. Baraboo River Near Baraboo affecting Columbia and Sauk Counties. Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Kenosha and Lake Counties. Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County.
What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Wisconsin River at Portage.
When: From this morning to late Friday morning.
Impacts: At 18.5 feet, Floodwaters affect River Shores Road about 3 miles upstream of Portage in the Town of Lewiston and River Oaks Road about 7 miles downstream of Portage in the Town of Dekorra in Columbia County. Water over Levee Rd and Tritz Rd. There is widespread flooding of roads in the Blackhawk Park Area including West Lake RoadBlackhawk Road and Wood Street. The Blackhawk Park area is on the south side of the river about 3 miles south of Portage.
Additional Details: - At 11:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.7 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 18.3 feet early Wednesday morning.
