Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Milwaukee River Near Cedarburg affecting Ozaukee County. Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County.

S: Rock River At Watertown affecting Jefferson County. ROCK RIVER near LEBANON-3 E-HWY MM BRIDGE affecting Dodge County. Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Milwaukee River near Cedarburg.
When: Until late Sunday evening.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Thiensville: Villa Grove Rd, Thiensville Village Park, water into yards of homes. Klug Ln, River Rd and Bonniwell Rd floods and water approaches some homes along N Island Drive and N Shoreland Parkway in Mequon. The following roads may flood: Mill St, Green Bay Ave, S Riverside Dr, Hwy Y and Hawthorne Dr and Blueberry Dr and Hawthorne Dr in the Town of Saukville, Highway W from Highway 33 and Highway 57 in the Village and Town of Saukville.
Additional Details: - At 11:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 12.2 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 12.2 feet on 08/29/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
