THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 106 UNTIL 4 AM CDT TUESDAY WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF TORNADO WATCH 103. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WISCONSIN THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 9 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN FOND DU LAC SHEBOYGAN IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN COLUMBIA GREEN LAKE MARQUETTE SAUK IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN DODGE OZAUKEE WASHINGTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BARABOO, BEAVER DAM, BERLIN, CEDARBURG, COLUMBUS, ENDEAVOR, FOND DU LAC, GERMANTOWN, GRAFTON, HARTFORD, HOWARDS GROVE, LAKE WISCONSIN, LODI, MARKESAN, MAYVILLE, MEQUON, MONTELLO, NESHKORO, OOSTBURG, OXFORD, PLYMOUTH, PORTAGE, PRAIRIE DU SAC, PRINCETON, REEDSBURG, SAUK CITY, SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WAUPUN, WEST BEND, AND WESTFIELD.

Flood Watch

Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, in east central Wisconsin, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan. In south central Wisconsin, Columbia, Green Lake, Marquette and Sauk. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge, Ozaukee and Washington.
When: Until 7 AM CDT this morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Repeated rounds of heavy rain on saturated ground are likely. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Portions of east central and south central Wisconsin, including the following counties, in east central Wisconsin, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan. In south central Wisconsin, Green Lake.
When: Until 530 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 223 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Sheboygan, Fond Du Lac, Waupun, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Ripon, Berlin, North Fond Du Lac, Howards Grove, Kohler, Markesan, Oakfield, Rosendale, Elkhart Lake, Green Lake, Brandon, Southern Lake Winnebago, Taycheedah, Lamartine and Byron. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
