The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Wisconsin Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Kickapoo River at Gays Mills.
When: From late Thursday night to early Tuesday morning.
Impacts: At 13.0 feet, Water begins to cover roads near the river, including Sand Hill Road near Bell Center. Minor flooding occurs in areas adjacent to the river, including Robb Park in Gays Mills.
Additional Details: - At 7:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.1 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings. Additional river and weather information is available at www.weather.gov/lacrosse. The next statement will be issued late tonight by 100 AM CDT.
Special Weather Statement
At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Richland Center to near Boscobel to 7 miles southeast of Prairie Du Chien to 6 miles south of Garnavillo to Dundee. Movement was east at 25 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near Richland Center, Guttenberg, and Bloomington around 455 PM CDT. Fennimore around 500 PM CDT. Muscoda and Cassville around 505 PM CDT. Lancaster around 530 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Arthur, Highway 61 And County T, Montfort, Eagle Corners, Turkey River, Beetown, Bixby State Park, County Roads K And T, Fairview, and Neptune.
