Description

The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Wisconsin Kickapoo River at Steuben affecting Crawford County.
: The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Wisconsin River at Muscoda affecting Iowa, Grant and Richland zones.
: The Flood Watch is replaced by a River Flood Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Wisconsin River at Muscoda.
When: From Saturday morning to Wednesday, April 22.
Impacts: At 10.0 feet, There is extensive lowland flooding. However no flooding has been reported in Muscoda in previous years.
Additional Details: - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.5 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Black River at Black River Falls affecting Jackson County.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin Kickapoo River at Viola affecting Richland and Vernon Counties. Kickapoo River at Readstown affecting Vernon County. Yellow River at Necedah affecting Juneau County. Black River Near Galesville affecting Trempealeau and La Crosse Counties. Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam affecting Juneau and Adams Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Kickapoo River at Viola.
When: Until Friday evening.
Impacts: At 15.0 feet, Banker Park and Campground in Viola experiences significant flooding.
Additional Details: - At 3:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 14.8 feet on 06/13/2004. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
