Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Wisconsin, including the following areas, in central Wisconsin, Marathon, Portage, Waushara and Wood. In east central Wisconsin, Calumet, Manitowoc and Winnebago. In north central Wisconsin, Langlade and Lincoln. In northeast Wisconsin, Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Menominee, Northern Marinette County, Northern Oconto County, Outagamie, Shawano, Southern Marinette County, Southern Oconto County and Waupaca.
When: Through Tuesday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding will also be possible.
Additional Details: - Soils are saturated due to recent rainfall and rain across the area this afternoon. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms continue to develop across the watch area through this evening, and will likely produce widespread additional rainfall amounts of 1 to locally 2 inches, with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Description

At 523 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Neopit, or 17 miles southeast of Antigo, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Hazard: Penny size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. The strong thunderstorm will be near Neopit around 525 PM CDT. White Lake and Big Smokey Falls around 540 PM CDT. Gardner Dam Scout Camp around 545 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include Zoar, Lake Noseum, Upper Bass Lake, Elton, Langlade, Boulder Lake Campground, Bagley Rapids Campground, Boot Lake Campground and Lakewood.

Recommended Action

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Where: Southeastern Langlade County in north central Wisconsin Menominee County in northeastern Wisconsin Northern Oconto County in northeastern Wisconsin Western Shawano County in northeastern Wisconsin Northwestern Waupaca County in northeastern Wisconsin
When: Until 845 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.
Additional Details: - At 545 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Wittenberg, Mountain, White Lake, Neopit, Big Smokey Falls, Gardner Dam Scout Camp, South Branch, Bear Paw Scout Camp, Langlade, Marion, Lakewood, Tigerton, Gresham, Bowler, Big Falls, Middle Village, Zoar, Lyndhurst, Intersection Of Hwy 55 And County M and Boulder Lake Campground. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
