What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Root River at Franklin.
When: From this morning to late tomorrow evening.
Impacts: At 8.0 feet, A low spot on Oakwood Road is flooded. Some yards along the river flood.
Additional Details: - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 8.3 feet on 06/18/1996. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
