Description

What: Northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
Where: Along and west of the Blue Ridge for portions of northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia, and southeast West Virginia.
When: Until midnight EST tonight.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down that may result in isolated power outages.

Recommended Action

Strong winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
